Well we might just have the perfect solution. At JSA we now offer the Scuba Explorer an unforgettable scuba experience for all those water babies out there!
The SSI Explorers program allows children starting at age six to go underwater and sample the different ways they can explore the aquatic world around them. They will gain a solid foundation in ocean conservation and have the opportunity to experience aquatic adventures. Completing their Blue Oceans and Snorkel Explorers Recognition programs. Children who are 8 or 9 years old can also join us for a Scuba Diving session in our shallow water reef ‘the Aquarium’.
This full day course is the perfect start for any child who is desperate to see more of the underwater world and find out about many different marine based issues and conservation efforts. Besides fun for the whole family, your children who have not yet achieved the minimum age for scuba diving will learn important life skills. These underwater adventures will enable young divers to acquire maturity, self-esteem, and a sense of responsibility.

You will be directly supervised by our specialised instructors completing a series of fun activities and take-home challenges.
The day will be split in half with dry and wet sessions. Your dedicated instructor will go over the course theory through interactive workshops on land followed by an in water experience, before each water session we will do a thorough briefing and ‘dry exercises’ making sure that we go into the water to learn all about the marine world in a safe and fun way.
