Juara beach is not only popular for its beauty, we are also lucky to have regular visits from sea turtles. Juara Beach is still a popular spot with nesting turtles who crawl right up onto our main beach, as well as surrounding coves, to lay their eggs in the nesting season between March and October. Juara Turtle Project (JTP) is a conservation centre, located near the lagoon in Juara, that helps to protect these sea turtles. You can visit to find out more about Sea Turtles and the work that JTP is doing at one of their daily talks and, if you are lucky, you can go watch turtle hatchlings being released back into the sea. Give back to nature and kickstart your conservation journey on your trip to Tioman.
